Vivian Hudson, DDS

Dr. Vivian Hudson is a 1983 graduate of Emory University Dental School, where she received the Oral Medicine Certificate of Merit. The greater metro Atlanta area is where she has practiced and lived with her husband of 40 years. They have two grown children.

Dr. Hudson is an active member of the American Dental Association®, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society and the Hinman Dental Society. She has been a GDA Delegate and Alternate Delegate, and is an Honorable Fellow of the Georgia Dental Association. Throughout her career, Dr. Hudson has participated in many dental charity functions through education, community and religious endeavors. Dr. Hudson pays special attention to mercury free, healthy dentistry and also treats TMJ/TMD patients. She stays current with the best of educational and practical procedures.

Dr. Hudson received her undergraduate degree of Biology with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work in microbiology took her to work at UNC and Duke University Labs before entering dental school at Emory.

Some of Dr. Hudson’s hobbies include oil painting, gardening and walking with her dog. She also likes to sew and cook. Dr. Hudson is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts. She is active in her community garden which donates produce to local food banks and is a supporter of cultural activities such as the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Sports, especially college basketball and football, are a favorite Saturday pastime. The Braves baseball is a passion and she gathers with friends to watch the games.
